Just like the first bite of a warm summer tomato, few things are as nourishing to our hearts as a vibrant collection of the best seasonal blooms. Each variety of flower at Sweeter Days is carefully selected, nurtured, harvested, and arranged by hand to provide vase-ready bouquets for any space where people gather. SDF’s fields of flowers do even more than yield lush bouquets for the kitchen tables of our friends and neighbors. With 1/3 acre of sustainably tended blooms, our cut flower production is also an integral part of fostering biodiversity at the farm. Flower crops offer critical nourishment and habitat to native pollinators. Some varieties, like sunflowers, can also be employed as cover crop as they grow, serving up beauty and benefits such as weed suppression and erosion control.
